ArchiFun Doctoral Programme will expect to train 23 researchers highly competitive and creative in interdisciplinary fields:
- biochemistry and biophysics
- structural biology
- analytical, medicinal and supramolecular chemistry
- bioinformatics and biotechnology
- molecular, cellular and tissue biology
- physiology and ecology
- basic and translational research
ArchiFun Doctoral Fellows (DF) will be trained-through-research to become critical and autonomous intellectual risk takers, out-of-the-box thinkers and with a holistic approach to Life Sciences.
ArchiFun DP is built to foster the following five UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Quality Education
- Gender Equality
- Reduced inequalities
- Good health and well-being
- Climate action
ArchiFun core values are rooted in the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the recruitment and selection of DF. The principles of the open, transparent and merit-based recruitment (OTM-R) will be followed at all stages.
- Scientific and social ethics
- Interdisciplinarity
- Equality and diversity
- Creativity
- Inter-sectorality
- Continuous improvement
- Open science and FAIR principles
The five implementing partner universities will synergistically work together with fundamental actors of the European Union other than universities, such as ESRF, the largest research infrastructure, a few components of MOSBRI (Molecular Scale Biophysics Research Infrastructure, a young consortium of medium-size research infrastructures), one extra EU partner and 4 small/medium enterprises.
