Governance
The Governing bodies of ArchiFun are the Board of Directors (BoD), the Management Team (MT) and the Supervisory Board (SB).
To comply with the European Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, an International Selection Committee (ISC) is also put in place, which will serve the two application calls in 2024 and 2025.
BoD - Board of Directors
Composition
- UCBL: Vice-president of Doctoral Studies, VP of international Relationships, VP of research
- 1 representative per implementing and associated partners
Role
- Taking decisions on the consortium
- Taking decisions on the implementation actions
- Proposing members of the ISC
- Supervising the compliance to the HRS4R practices
SB - Supervisory Board
Composition
- Supervisors involved in ArchiFun Doctoral Programme from UCBL, UGR, INIPD, TUM, NIC
- 2 Doctoral fellows (DF) elected per cohort
Role
- Gathering the list of the research projects to be submitted before each call
- Overseeing and suggesting measures for the training
- Coordinating the secondments
- Monitoring the personal career development plan (CDP) and the plan for dissemination and exploitation of results (PDER)
MT - Management Team
Composition
- ArchiFun Coordinator
- ArchiFun deputy coordinator
- UCBL Arqus Team representative
Role
- Day-to-day management of the Doctoral Programme
- Liaising with the European Commission
- Gathering the reporting and supervising the deliverable deadlines
- Resolving relevant issues
EthC - Ethics Committee
Composition
- 1 External ethics chair
- 1 representative of UCBL, UGR, UNIPD, TUM, and NIC's local ethics committees
Role
- Supervising all possible ethics issues of the programme as a whole and of the individual research projects before and during their implementation
ISC - International Selection Committee
Composition
- 8 experts from the Arqus Alliance
- 9 external experts
Role
- Selection of the research projects before the call
- Evaluation of the applications
- Supervising the selection procedures
DWP - Doctoral Watch Panel
Composition
- 2-3 external experts per DF, not former collaborators of the supervisor
Role
- Ensuring the smooth running of the research project
- Supervising the feasibility of each CDP and PDER
