Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible you :
- need to be in a position to complete a master's degree or an equivalent diploma before the beginning of the PhD position or have completed a master's degree or an equivalent diploma.
- cannot already possess a PhD title. Researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis, but who have not yet formally been awarded the doctoral degree will not be eligible.
- cannot have had your main residence or carried out your main activity (work, studies...) in the recruiting country for more than 12 months during the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline of the call. Compulsory national service, short stays such as holidays and time spent as part of a procedure for obtaining refugees status under the Geneva Convention (1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 Protocol) are not taken into account.

Prepare your application
- Choose a project (listed on this page)
- Contact the supervisor(s) of the chosen project
- Gather all the following documents in ONE PDF file. If your pdf file is not complete, it will not be considered. If you are applying to more than one project, you have to prepare one pdf per project.
- a CV (max 2 pages), including proof of residency in the last 36 months
- TOEFL/IELTS, if applicable
- a motivation letter (max 1 page)
- a short text that specifies your role within the chosen research project in agreement with the supervisor(s) (1-2 pages max)
- transcript of the Master Diploma or equivalent
